STANDARDS MEAN QUALITY

 

Analytical Chemistry Laboratory

In 2015 the Analytical Chemistry Laboratory of the Grenada Bureau of Standards became the first laboratory in Grenada to attain ISO 17025 accreditation. This laboratory also became the firt laboratory within a National Standards body (NSB) in the OECS to be ISO 17025 accredited. The initial scope of accreditation was in the area of chemical testing (pH and moisture content determination). This laboratory offers a wide range of services and is also responsible for carrying conformity assessment on products for compliance to existing technical regualtions.
